As a Volusia County native, Capt. Brian Nichols has spent nearly two decades fishing the waters surrounding New Smyrna Beach, Mosquito Lagoon and Ponce Inlet.
Long before Slick Calm Charters, these were the waters where he learned the tides, seasons and fish movements that continue to shape every trip today.
Now based in Edgewater, Brian enjoys sharing that knowledge with anglers of every experience level.
Whether you’re chasing your first redfish, introducing the family to fishing or searching for a trophy catch, his goal is simple: provide an enjoyable, relaxed day on the water built around the conditions—not a script.
